Theory:
I installed a Deltino (The netpond dialer / run by Meat/Aga) dialer to examine how it interacts with the surfer. (its a nasty bitch that disables ctrl+alt+del
).
I have had some other UK friends test the links, and they do not get redirected. Friends who did not install a Deltino/Netpond dialer.
I propose that those people getting redirected, have at one time installed a Netpond dialer. Netpond dialer is now redirecting Lensman's traffic for him.
