They must have sufficient evidence to issue the arrest warrant and set bond at such a high amount. Me, being a nurse and a compassionate person, would "normally" say this guy needs help with his issues and I hope he gets the needed help, even if it's spending a very long time in prison, BUT I am of the very firm belief that sex offenders can not be rehabilitated. The best thing is to keep them locked up and away from kids because they will always re-offend given enough time and given the chance. I know this from personal experience and this is one group of people who can not be productive members of society.
