It's very hard to quit especially if you smoke more then a pack a day for many years. With all the chemicals and nitcotine in your body its like having hot flashes when your sweating out the nicotine and chemicals.
Drink plenty of water, 4-8 cups a day, it will help flush the checmicals and nicotine out of your body faster, the quicker you get it out the better you feel and the easier it is to quit, so after a few days you might not even want to conitnue the patches.
