I've seen this a lot. Articles referring to something from the New York Times. I think it's hilarious that you just assume this to be true. Can you find me any evidence that this was actually printed in the New York Times? It was some garbage started by one idiot, and the rest just followed. All this evidence is extremely convincing. It's just a pity that it's all made up.
