Obiously there is only one person who will be able to tell us if the following theory is true (hint: he wears tinted glasses all the time and is a zillionaire with good taste in cars) but the fact is:

The intrusive advertising on GFY seems to be a reaction to all the desperation marketing that sig whores and the companies that support them are practising by invading threads, random bullshit posting, etc.
