Mmm.. political positions mean little.
I'd be more interested in seeing *anyone* who has been in public office who has in any way been associated with, or actually involved in any killings, illegal arms trading (according to the laws of the countries they represent), lied and misled their citizens and/or their state houses of government over serious issues (such as manipulating funds for arms or supplying actual arms to any operation with resulted in genicide or murder), or conspired in any acts which resulted in killings of people of their own countries or those of any other - being arrested and placed on trial under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court.
It does not matter about "politics" - they can be *anything* they claim - democratic, conservative, communist, liberal - don't matter!
There are around 25+ known (and living) prime suspects - all claiming to have supported, represented or led "political parties" - they are in Europe, USA and elsewhere.
The list or "prospective candidates" is growing each few months - give em more rope and let the documentation and witnesses come forward over time and they too, will be on the "list".
As a parting comment... It is ironic that the "world's greatest superpower" agrees wholeheartedly that it is a good idea to have an International Criminal Court - that is, for all other nations. But cannot bring itself to actually participate in this court itself. The reasons are nothing to do with the final reason, (after a series of incredible reasons), given for not participating - namely, "in case our soldiers are subjected to spurious legal claims". It takes little looking to see what the real reasons are.....
