do you not understand? He was picked up and gave a hard knock life story. Have you watched his dvd?
I'm not a 50cent advocate. Granted, before his popularity three/four years ago (back when Ghetto Queran and How to Rob were out) he was one of my favs. However nowadays, I still like him, but his popularity amongst little 13yr old teeny boppers has discouraged my music preferences. Nonetheless - The point I was trying to make before validating my hip-hop taste, is 50 cent is the real deal. I lived in Jersey City for a good part of my life. A roughneck neighborhood, one transit from NYC. And we ALL knew of this underground rapper on the scene who use run some of the Queens NYC drug game with Preme. You may not be a fan, cool. Your prerogative. However, I assure he's one of the street rappers out. His image didn't start when Eminem picked him up. Again, not some groupie fan trying to sway your opinion.

As for Jay-z? He's dope man. Reasonable Doubt is a classic album. Blueprint? Near classic. The shit in between, eh, so so. I anticipate the black album. I've heard all the leaked tracks already - Public Anouncement/My Name is Hov is a crazy track. Too bad Just blaze (the producer) sampled the whole beat from Black Moon.
