I've been away from the ex for 8 yrs plus and the other day beeped my old man with my ex's ph number. Talk about having to talk fast when he called and says uhhhh is their a REASON you will be at his place? I didn't even realize what number I hit when I beeped.
B-F-G's would have a SERIOUS tiff over such a messup. He was put off abit but I said oh &^#$!(^#$@ I screwed up Sorry! And all was well. ;-)
It will be 8 yrs living together next April so yeah, I think more than the options you gave.  And yes I get one small flower every year that day. (I don't care that much for flowers and the one little one is MORE than enough to let me know he remembers.) A dandelion works just fine too.
