sounds like your job is really stressful. but don't quit it unless you are finacially able to support yourself...otherwise you will just create an entirely different type of stress for yourself. If you want to keep a day job I would definitely try to find a new one before leaving this one.
I left a great paying job because I worked for assholes. I felt great the day i quit and then as the weeks past I really began to stress about leaving such great money without having a plan.
No matter what you decide, just do what's best for you and remember that "everything is gonna be alright"! Best of luck to you!
