Even though I work in the ER, I know it's very effective for treating UTI's, URI's, PID's, etc. and the symptoms you described aren't the norm for what we see with this antibiotic. Of course, sensitivity to sunlight, UV rays, etc. are commonplace with most antibiotics.
I would get an emergency call into your Dr. about your symptoms. What you are describing is concerning and I'm sure your physician would want to know about it. I'm sure he's busy, but he has an obligation and responsibility to each and every patient and if you are having some "off" type reaction to this antibiotic he would want to know and possibly perscribe something different.
Good Luck and keep us posted.

Yeah, I did. Thanks for letting me know this is really not the norm. I have uncommon reactions to a lot of medications. Usually try not to take much of anything for that reason. Reduced dosage to half and I'm a little more clear-headed now, although the last course of this I did was at half and didn't totally work. Still don't feel exactly myself, but at least I'm not going out of my head.
