Yes, I've had problems in dealing with people. When they find out I produce my own content, their eyes cloud over and they start looking for my handler. So I try not to tell them unless it comes up.

Same here, Elli, I shoot 99% of my own content, AM my own content, and am the webmistress of my site as well... I'm 100% amateur working her tail off, but I enjoy it that way because I don't want anyone telling me how/what to do. I guess when you are your own content, you learn early on to establish boundaries of what you're willing and not willing to portray to all the world. I stick to mine and am happy with it.
