Why, because CNN told you so? If it was so harsh, they would not refer to each other with it. Also, I'd imagine if Hitler were around Blonde jokes would be considered 'harsh' too.
Uh, could their be a connection between the end of WWII (a war in which Germany promoted Blondes as being more intelligent than Jews and non-Whites) and the fact that Blonde jokes are now considered mainstream?
