You're right that this will be timely. I am, however, curious of the results. I am confident that the personal shopping experience will make the surfer feel more comfortable, and in the end hopefully create a repeat paying customer. Let's not forget about the conversions!
If early results show this will work out well, I will be willing to hire and train a small staff to take care of this fuction for me. I'm sure there are people willing to make $10 an hour for chatting on ICQ ;-).
In conclusion, this is my innovation. I will put it to the test and hopefully gain customer loyalty (ie: bookmarkers, repeat buyers) and a relationship with my srufers, which will in turn help me tailor the site towards their needs.
... And no, I don't sleep that much. I'm a student, I'm doing part time co-op at an advertising agency, and I run a couple of businesses (limousine service, domains/hosting, and of course online porn).
