Thatz real fucked up. It's happen to me before though, I had all kinds of shit on my hard drive...and expensive pictures on a digital camera that I hadn't uploaded yet. I'm still not completely over it, don't know if I ever will. But I use a laptop now, and it goes everywhere I go..too much valuable shit on it to get stolen.
