I've had cars broken into and after we built our big house in LA, someone tried to break in while we were out for dinner only a couple weeks after it was done being built and we had just moved in. Luckily they were too dumb to read our "WARNING - ATTACK DOGS" signs or didn't believe them.
They broke the lock on the pool door and from the looks of all the blood on the floor, when the guy had his arm reached inside the door to try and snap the door chain, that's when he got to meet and greet my 3 German Shepherds. We found pieces of his shredded shirt sleeve on the floor as well. Don't know how badly his arm must have been mangled, but we could see the trail of blood going back out into the woods.
LESSON:
ALWAYS HAVE A BIG, BAD SHEPHERD, ROTTIE, OR THE LIKE TO HANDLE GREETING UNEXPECTED GUESTS AT YOUR HOME!
