To get it to stop when it's bleeding, get a cold damp washrag and apply it and pressure to your nose, tilting your head back. When you do finally tilt your head forward, do so SLOWLY, and don't blow/pick/wipe your nose for at least half an hour.
As for stopping it permanently, that's gonna have to wait until your cold is gone. The tissues inside are so aggravated from all the sniffling/blowing you're doing that nothing short of cauterizing the veins inside will make it stop. Try not to blow your nose so hard, take some zinc cough drops and mega doses of vitamin C to kick the cold as fast as possible.
And down the line if this keeps happening whenever you get a cold, you really might want to have a doctor cauterize the veins in there. My mom had to have it done when she was in her 20s. Didn't affect her sense of smell.
