Hmm, look at other countries the US could pick which have human rights violations going on, but either have no oil, or have no danger of withholding oil, and think why the US haven't moved to help them.
Look at Nigeria, 3rd or th largest oil producing country in the world, where the police kill and rob people everyday, you can see a dead body lying in the street for weeks ubtil it gets picked apart by stray dogs. Does the west help them get rid of the most corrupt systems in the world? No, because the oil flows freely. Freely enough for there to be no gas in Nigerian Gas stations regularly.
Its all about the money and the power people. Go see these places and then you can comment.
