You should check out The Temple of Pamphage (
http://www.pamphage.com/). I was reading his stuff for years before he ever started posting here. He has some really compelling work on there and it's definitely the sort of thing that would have shocked the public right off its feet a few years ago. I think the people who have the biggest problems with edgy writing are people who have never written anything, themselves. When you do some writing of your own, you come to understand that fantasy is just that: fantasy.
Mind you, I do tend to believe that people who write stories about things like sex with minors (especially forced or violent) have some problems but as long as it stays on paper, I don't see how it would be right to mete out punishment.
Edit: I should clarify something about the above statement. When I say "minors" I am talking specifically about early teens on down. I just can't get too upset about a story featuring a seventeen-year-old getting fucked.
