I had 3 wisdom teeth removed via IV sedation, but left the fourth on the advice of both my dentist and oral surgeon. Less than 1 year later I had the fourth taken out so that I could wear braces. I thought, "Heck i'll just let the dentist pull it - the first 3 were easy." That one tooth hurt me more than all of the other 3 combined multiplied by a factor of 10. No joke. $250 for IV sedation and $250 per tooth is what it costs where I live. Oh yeah, they give you antibiotic and and anti-swelling agent in an IV at the surgeons. You get neither at the dentist's office - just nitrous and novocaine.
Ohhhhh shitttttttt!! I didnt know that a regular dentist could do it. I thought it HAD to be a oral surgeon. I had a oral surgeon with the IV and all. Its the ONLY way to go!! Fu#$ that other way, it sounds like a miserable way to go!!
