What happened in that video is the guy's turbocharger didn't spool and start making power until 20-30 feet after launch. MR2s are notorious for having high-launch points, and being inexperienced (young dumb and full of cum), he was not aware of this. The tyres started to spin and he couldn't control the oversteer, off to the left he goes.
It is worth mentioning that the MR2 is midengine with a short wheelbase and low polar moment of inertia (meaning there is little sprung weight forward of the front axle and rear of the rear axle). What that all means is that weight transfer is minimal and wouldn't cause such a violent loss of control.
