As moronic as the first post of this thread was, I agree with the basic premise.
In North America, alcohol has a taboo quality about it that makes it very attractive to teens looking for ways to rebel. I think if kids were introduced to alcohol from an early age they would learn to handle it more responsibly and they would be less likely mix learning to drive with learning to drink.
