It's sad if you ask me, I think that a family should be able to get by on one income. The advantage of a regular paycheck is that it is regular and you always know how much is coming in and when. It would drive me nuts not to have money coming in from 50 different places a week but some folks do fine that way.

I've been married for 4 years and I have a son that's 2 next month. I told my wife from day 1 she wasn't working to pay bills. I do what I must to make sure that never happens. At this point a normal persons good paycheck would put me in bankruptcy.
