All I can tell you is what was going on here. I can't tell you how to read it.
I was on the verge of signing the papers for this house. The point of no return. I was fucking seriously hammered that night. We had guests. We came back off a catamaran cocktail cruise, and I threw my guests out on the street and told them to get a hotel. My girl and I had a HUGE fight..... throwing things and breaking things type of fight. She packed a bag and hauled ass. Naturally, the first thing I did was come and post it on GFY.
I had no reason to believe she was coming back. And so, my thoughts were, fuck the house deal, I can shitcan everything here, pack a bag, and be back on the mainland in 24 hours.
Later that night, she DID come back. We worked it out over the next couple of days. During that time, and because of that thread, I was made several very generous offers from many different people.
Lens was one of those people. I took a day, discussed it with my girl, gave it serious consideration, and accepted it.
Now..... as far as whatever the hell you people interpreted that whole event to be, is not my responsibility. You can think whatever the hell you want to. But I'm telling you for the last damn time.... it had nothing to do with being suicidal or being broke. LOL.....
If I said the word "broke" it was meant as a relative term. Everyone has a different level they consider to be "broke". For me, if I'm under $50k liquid, I consider myself broke.
but that by no means constitutes my being destitute or begging for a job.
