Possible, but I dont think they are stupid enough to buy an obviously stolen database.

That they bought/aquired that data from another company is a more likely scenrio.



Personally I wouldnt trust companies like Babenet, etc. They arent exactly upstanding people.
I personally agree with your answers however we are not talking about a very bright company here. To date they have already falsely accused 3 of my associates with infringing on their patents and these people have no websites.

Just because they have lawyers working for them it doesn't sound like they hired the brightest lawyers in the pool.
