I'm not advertising for anyone nor do I have any agenda. You know your company is going to come under fire when webmasters names/info are being given out by someone, and you're one of the ones listed in the letters everyone are getting. I don't know who's doing it, and neither do alot of people at the moment. Probably more than one, I would imagine.
I'm sorry if I sounded harsh, but demanding apologies from webmasters right now seems ridiculous to me. I also know Giorgio isn't the only one who came to the same conclusions. I had two people yesterday swear to me that their info matched with Hustler. "Finger pointing" isn't nearly as stressful as what some smaller webmasters are facing right now. I'm sure it's just a drop in the bucket for you, but for some of us if this plays out the way Acacia is hoping it will, it's going to be a nightmare.
I have no clue if your company is involved. But even if you're not, at least for the next few days until everyone gets through opening their surprises why not leave it be, or just state that it's definitely not you? I doubt you'll have many people lined up to issue you, or any of the other names in those letters, apologies until this latest round settles. A lot of people are scrambling for answers right now, which makes it even more infuriating when people claim they know where it's coming from, but won't tell.
However, I'll be happy to tell I'm sorry for telling you to stfu. That was rude and unnecessary. I'm not in the best of moods about this today. If you still want to answer a question from me then tell me this- Do you have any idea who's releasing our info? OR- Do you know but for whatever reason you can't say?
