Bottom line here people: Be original.... don't rip off/copy/steal the original hard work of others, and big arguments and messes like this won't be happening.
Duhhwahh?? Is this not common sense?
I have quietly followed this argument from the time it started, and after reading the posts from countless programmers stating that the copying/theft was blatently obvious, I would have to add here that IF I was using such a product and I now know full well that it is a ripoff of someone else's work, I would do the right thing and eat the cost of it and get the PROPER solution running..... instead of digging in my heels and continuing to profit from something that is obviously tainted.
But that's just me.
Others will disagree and try to justify it, but to me the choices are pretty clear here --
Hamburger A: Continue to use a stolen script,
or Hamburger B: go find a new originally-written script.
I would choose hamburger B.... it leaves a much less shitty taste in your mouth.
