If the problem is with your ISP Name Server Resolution then switching your DNS information on your local machine will cause you to connect to a different name server avoiding this problem.

4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 are some open public name servers from gte I think.

XP Platform I think go to Control Panel, Network Connections, Get properties on your active net connection, tcp/ip properties, and their you can find your DNS info.
