We have always lived in areas that get hunted and I can tell you first hand that when out for hikes right after hunting season, we find carcasses, full carcasses ONLY with the antlers removed. That isn't population control, it's SPS

i agree with you there...
im glad my hubby knows that the best meat is the doe/cow and not the big tough ass antler ridden bulls.
I hike all over washington state , but have yet to do it right after season......sucks that people have to waste an animal for its antlers...hubby and his hunting buddies are obsessed with all the rules and regulations...
my rule for my house...if you cant eat it.. dont kill it..unless its trying to eat you
