My main system's power supply died a week ago..so I put together another one from spare parts.

Here's the thing..I turn it off at night (And yes..it IS off)..and when I get up in the morning..it's up and running!

Now, unless Windows 2000 pro has some special command in it that I don't know about, I don't know how it's doing this. If I forget to UNPLUG it, it's always on bright and early the next day.

Tell you..sometimes it's kinda freaky to walk into my study and find it sitting there running. Afraid to turn on the monitor cuz it might say something like "Good Morning! Where have you been?"

Anyone ever gone through anything similar?
