Did you by chance purchase CDROM of files to be used on your BBS? The problem is not finding the content, it's verifying the date stamp of its availability.
Not sure how a BBS log would hold up on court, since it and the date stamp of the file could be manipulated.. but having several SYSOP testify that the BBS log is accurate certainly does help (requires you to give testimony).
The CDROM (not one that you later created as backup, but the original from the software distribution house) could really help to document the date stamp of the file being available prior to 1990.
If you do have a CDROM, let me know.
if you have a non-porn GL file, let me know as well.. the GL files that I have are porn ones, and would rather post a non-porn for others to see...and to show people what prior art looks like (for my purposes i don't need the date verification.. i would take your word and the date stamp on the file to be sufficient for others to see).
