Remember, telling a group of people with no military that their brothers and sisters and sons and daughters who are terrorists are assholes is kinda like writing a suicide note. I am sure there are millions of Muslims right now who are screaming for his head because of his direct attacks on religious leaders...sometimes, compromising in the present allows for major changes in the future and I don't know if I could call Mahathir somebody with no guts. He is not stupid, he knew this reaction would take place...I am sure his heart was fluttering as he said it.
