In the instance of Bush, I sat and watched this "half elected" person stand up in one of his rare speeches 10 days after election time and, within 90 seconds, dismiss/reverse almost all promises on which he was "half elected". I thought then... mmm, we have a problem here, and since that day almost every single thing I predicted has come true.
Bush is not a credible man - he is, in fact a very dishonest man who would, in many other western countries, be sitting in a jail cell serving time for fraud re his previous failed business ventures.
His only hope of support is to cloak himself as a "Commander-In-Chief" (which again it a total absurdity when you glance at this person's service record!) and "rally the people around" to "defend the homeland". Domestically, I can't think of one thing this "president" has done for the US - nevermind looking at the damage he has caused to the US both domestically and worldwide. He is a total phoney who would have nada chance of being the leader of any other western country.
This morning he is off to Asia... with his usual "warnings" to China to reduced their currency because the US can't match it's value and "threats" to Japan to sort their markets out - once again because it is not in keeping with his "doctrine". Do they give a shit? I doubt it! It is little surprise the Secret Service are not allowing him more than a couple of hours in any country - there is indeed, a reasonable chance he would get a bullet in the brain.
He is due in November to visit his partner, the UK - that may, or may not happen, since members of the govt there are saying, "Hell, that's the last thing we need here!" I know damned well the Secret Service need to cover his ass in the UK as well - once again, there is a good chance of that bullet.
This is a totally untrustworthy man who DOES lie/decieve on a daily basis and is disliked for his stupidity, arrogance and lack of any qualifications the world over. He may, or may not, have conned you, - but he has not conned the rest of the world. They know the US Admin *very well* by now
I look forward to the day the US has a President - there are plenty more qualified and honest people there! This has nothing to do with petty political leanings - it is more important than crap.
