Sleazy, Serge is on when he says I do not give a fuck. Serge does not give a fuck, I learned it from him. He made a fortune, and adopted the attitude. I made my small time fortune, and do not give a fuck. I carry on as I see fit in this business.
I have a very cynical view of this business, and the people in it. Anyone who knows me well, knows this. There are a few clowns who need a dose of reality.
As far as posting on GFY, I stir the pot. For the most part of my 7 years in the biz, I have stirred the pot. Anyone remember netpond or ynot?
Just happens GFY is the best place to do so at this time. I am sure there is also a small amount of self promotion. Amazing how many people contact me wanting to do business. Amazing how many people walk up to me at shows, like I am a celebrity wanting to meet Brad Shaw. This all comes from the boards.
The new generation of webmasters who have some traffic did not know who Brad Shaw was, now they do. Sure some of them may hate me, and I will never see anything from them. But there will be many I would have never had a chance to meet, if not for being such a pot stirrer. In the end, anything I do in this business is about money first, ego second.
