Actually not as bad as Philippines, but a lot of things are not legal, but everybody is doing it. Once they find out you have some money, they will suddenly be aware of the laws that nobody follows .... and it will be up to a group of policemen how much they will ask for to look away ...
Prostitution is illegal .... still they have licensed massage parlors and demand health checks for the girls ... go figure ....
porn is illegal, but they play them in the bars and sex dvds are available from licensed street vendors ...
But if a customs officer does not like you and finds a nude pic in your pocket .... you are like wax in his hands! Many foreigners have died in Thai jail because of minor offences
