I totally agree with you except for the 'sad day in American history' part
I view this as a victory for the power of the american people to exert it's will as THE Government....not a person, but as a democracy....
but the part I agree with you, is that politics is clearly about looks, name, personality and mostly superficial shit
here is the bottom line imo...
If you have two candidates, look at both of them, and ask yourself:
1) who would the majority of guys not mind having a beer with (ie who is most not like some of the trolls on this board)
2) who would the majority of women not mind either setting up with a friend of theirs, or wouldn't mind getting hit on, or fucking, or not being repulsed by...or one one of those combos...
if they pass those two tests, there is a good chance some substance may work...if there is a hangup in one of the 2 above mentioned things to consider...they don't really stand a chance these days...
esp not in a state like Cali...
