The tapes will all have to be captured onto a editing machine and if you have 5 tapes at 90 mins each, that's 7 1/2 hours of just capture time and then pulling clips into 1-3 min trailer would take approx another 90 mins. And putting music, text, graphics to the trailers, then you'll have to export and encode the clips and then upload to a server or export the clip back to the tape. So when all is said and done, all 5 tapes could easily take 20 hours to complete. $100.00 bucks for 20 hours of work. That works out to be 5 bucks a hour. Am I missing something here?

Movies are already digital and in WMV format 400x300 @ 768kbp/s. each movie is around 500MB. Ok so maybe it will take 1 & 1/2 hours each. i don't count encoding or transfer time as you don't have to do anything or be there for that. and all that depends on your system and to many variables for me to pay for it.
