GoDaddy is just a bunch of haters but really, when you own a program that you KNOWINGLY use spam to promote, you should spend the bucks on a registrar that will protect you. Do you think a $10 reg fee is worth all the heat for GoDaddy?
Anyway I would believe the rogue spammer getting pissed at them part. They keep a few spammers "protected", mainly the ones that can find other smaller spammers for a steady stream of referrals around. When the smaller spammers make a decent amount though they make up some bullshit excuse and can the account anyway. Been there, done that, free e-mail programs are bullshit anyway.
