Don't assume. The woman truly could have had no friends, but dont assume that if she notified a gaurd that they would respond. The government workers dont exactly get paid enough to care much, so it depends on the gaurd. But she could have probably called the father and had him take care of the child. I'm not defending her, but assumptions are dangerous.
