the republicans /right wing had a hate on for clinton for his entire presidency. No accusation was too low. Even now that he's out of office, the republicans still use Clinton as a boogyman.
on the other hand the democrats/left wing can't stand george bush ... witness all the attacks on him. I'm surprised there hasn't been a serious attempt to impeach him yet.....
