I wonder about this, too.

I am working on a niche site, that might convert well among those who enjoy that niche.

But if I made it humiliating, maybe it would convert better across the board... but I might lose the niche-only converters since it would be a little extreme.

I'm not sure... humiliation does seem to work, but does it retain????

A pure niche site, I think, would retain better among those with a kink for whatever the niche is.
