Back from the event.
Thank GOD we weren't ringside. several of the damn wrestlers SPIT into the audience... YUCK. We were pretty close though, one of the closer rows near the ring.
The guys bought my ticket actually so that I'd take them. They asked me and I agreed to do it after the tickets were bought - if it was before i would have bought them the best seats, but since they bought my ticket for me I bought them all dinner and drinks and paid the gas and such.....
Very entertaining to watch - the guys I went with knew all the wrestlers and yelled and screamed at them all night long. Incredible arobatics that these big guys can do.....
The funniest part of the evening was when I went to the washroom and this guy from my home town who is about 6 years younger than me (he's about 25) saw me there and came up to me to talk about the wrestling. He thought I WAS a FAN and right into it. - now this is a sane guy too that I thought had a brain. He went on and on about the matches and did I see this sneeky move and that sneeky move etc and how payback was gona be sweet... I smiled at him and slowly backed away. The handicaped guy I was taking to the washroom asked me if he that guy realized that it was fake.
Overall a fun night. If the WWE comes back to town I'll take the guys again. No way I'm getting ringside though - the very idea of a wrestler spitting on me makes me ill.
