A woman who made her own porn videos deserves a new day in court because of a Hamilton County Common Pleas Court judge's error, the state Supreme Court ruled September 24.
Jennifer Dute - who was released from prison in June when a state appeals court ruled she should get a new trial - may not necessarily face a new trial, however. The Cincinnati Post said prosecutors are still studying the Supreme Court ruling and not certain they'll continue to press charges or challenge the appeal, or even seek a new trial.
Dute's home-made videos usually showed her having "several types of sex with a multitude of partners," said the newspaper, which added she agreed after a 1999 conviction that she wouldn't sell her videos in or from Hamilton County.
