I started having migraines when I was 11 years old...or there about 1976-1977.
Anyway, these migraines would come on and last up to 2 weeks at at ime.
Medication would only numb it. The pain would be there, but instead of a sharp pain it would just be a dull numbing pain all the damn time.
Anyway a friend of mine was seeing Dr. Luc De Shepper *I think I spelled it right.*
Was a pretty exclusive naturalist, acupuncturist in Santa Monica.
He was able to score me an appointment.
I went in, the guy started asking me questions. Asked me where I was hurting, I mentioned something about my elbow and he said I was having gastrointestinal problems...and he was right...LOL I had been having those problems.
We then discussed my migraines and he brought out the tray full of needles.
He started to put those things in all kinds of strange places. Then he would tweak them, twist them etc.
I swear you could feel like surges of electricity running through your body.
After it was over he gave me some herbal meds to take and had me come back in a couple of days.
I forgot how much I spent that week seeing him...but that was back in 1988, or 1989 and I have not had a migraine since...and after over a decade of them I was so flipping glad.
