Ahem, did you read my earlier post my dear? I already said rape victims and exceptional situations are not the same.
Here, in case you missed it.
I think abortion is one of those issues that's dependant on the situation. If some dumb bitch gets herself knocked up because she wasn't smart enough to wrap it, in MY perfect world she'd be forced to HAVE the baby, then give it up to a family that couldn't have children of their own and really wanted one. I disagree with abortion as a form of birth control, but I can't TOTALLY diasagree with abortion. What about aborting an etopic pregnancy (a tubal pregnancy). It's a pregnancy that WILL KILL both mother AND CHILD WITHOUT FAIL. Is she a murderer if she has an abortion in that case? What about a young girl (12-13 years old) who gets pregnant from brutal rape? Is she supposed to go through pregnancy and birth to a child who is the product of brutality? Or incest (where the child has good potential for retardation or other physical problems?). Honestly, I think it's very situational. Imagine being a woman in the positions I've mentioned here (or a child, for that matter) and then tell me that you would never have an abortion.
