I am pretty sure it was used in wars to try and make prisoners talk though. As kinda a truth serum
So I don't think soldiers were on it for fear of capture, I do agree that most of them were and are methed out
kinda like that accidental bombing of Candian troops by american jets, part of there defense was that they were on a military "drug" (alo known as meth) and had been up for like 30 hours when they were flying that mission
hehe after 30 hours on that shit, I would be a lil flaky too
