There are only a handful of sites out there that actually have a well thought out layout (GUI), content that is right for the specific site, and customer support to name a few necessary things that brick'n'mortar establishments absolutely need to survive. I'm not saying websites are mirrors in any way of a brick'n'mortor businesses but fuck man, have some common decency to propogate well thought out websites rather than crap.

The difference between general sites and paysites is - the name already says it - people pay for paysites. Find a bad site? Just don't visit it anymore. Not really a problem. However, if you have paid good money for something, you'll feel ripped off if it doesn't deliver.
Ofcourse, in order to make money with a non-paysite it also needs to be pretty good, but at least fuckups with that only hurt yourself. Bad paysites rip off customers, making them wary of other paysites and thereby damaging the entire industry.
