The Beverage Thread
yep.... you guessed it. It's all about what you drink.
I used to drink a LOT of Coke..... I've been real good though. Easy habit to slip into when you're in front of a computer all day I suppose. Haven't had hardly any in weeks. (compared to a month ago, I was downing two 2 Liter bottles a day)
so now....
Morning: coffee till 11 or 12
Afternoon: sometimes water, sometimes pineapple/7/Malibu, heavy on the 7. Both are real light so I don't end up getting full.
Evening: either 1 or 2 light beers or just water.... depends on how hot out it is.
Night: i like to cap off the night with another coffee or two, with some Baileys, and then another bottle of water right before hitting the sack.
Weekends: pretty much the same as during the week, but I started getting into the Jamba Juices. Good shit there man. Gotta have at least one a weekend.
I set my mind out a while back to change my beverage habits, and I must say, so far I've made quite a dramatic change from even just a few months ago. Much less beer, (I got sick of the taste of it, finally, after 24 years of the stuff) and much less Coke, which is always good.... that shit can't possibly be good for any living thing... even though I still love the stuff.
by no means am I a health nut... and I'm not looking for perfection. But I'm starting to notice at least a little difference. I'm not quite so tired all the time any more. I think I was way on the extreme end of caffeine..... so far that it was having the reverse effect. Instead of juicing me up, it was making me tired.
so.... anyway. There's my beverage saga for September, 2003.
