Hilter was a fucking smart cookie. As horrible as the end result was, this man not only took over Germany, but also nearly ruled all of Europe and was marching towards world domination.
I don't understand his need to rid of the world of certain races, nor can I comprehend how an entire nation could go along with it. I've read his book, and dozens of other books like him (I love to read about WWII). I just don't get that aspect of the Nazi party.
We should thank the US for stopping him. And more importantly, we should thank the USSR for stopping him - being as they lost a lot more bringing a halt to German Army.
It may just be that he was an odd man, or unable to be social on a metal level. It's also very possible that he was gay, which was not accpeted at that time. Maybe he just lived in the closet his entire life, never acted on his impulses, and had a woman here and there just to cover his ass.
