Wow! And it's such a pretty house.

One thing you DO need to realize is that there will be imperfections, settling, some sap, cracks, etc. I have a couple of places of sap, some places that have been filled in between the logs, and of course small cracks in the logs themselves, but IMHO, that's the character of the logs. They aren't structural problems, but then again, they aren't the perfect smooth drywall that a lot of people must have.

There are a few things with that house that I'd accept, but the whole package of the problems REALLY sucks.
