There is an industry standard database for that. It integrates into an app called Clearplan which is a mapping software with its own database for addresses that the camera cars feed and skip tracers feed. Then we also get out and check VINS on cars like Challengers because their owners are savy so they put fake plates on or take the front plate off and always back into parking spots so the license plate readers don’t pick them up. The only way to prevent your car from being repossessed is to always park it in a locked garage at your house or behind a gate with a lock on it. We go into secure parking garages at apts and condos. Stop at the grocery store for a bag of chips and we will get it. Different states have different laws so in some areas you could be sitting in your car with it turned on and we can grab it. And not all repo companies follow the law so even if you have it in a locked garage they might use some electric devise to trick the sensors or just use a bolt cutter. I know a guy in the northeast who does that.
We had a huge day today.
